Manmade Reflections
I created this piece in 12th grade during covid-19. The theme was based upon an artist of our choice. For this project I went with the artist Marta Klonowska, who is an artist originating from warsaw, Poland who was known for her passion of glass making to create beautiful animal sculptures. In my version I placed a crystalized/materialistic lemur face to face with a real counterpart. These two species have drastic different needs, one to live one to consume.
At the time I originally created a 3D scupting of the lemur our of tinfoil and toothpicks. My origional plan was to line the scupture up with the 2D background and take a picture as my project. My teacher said it had to be drawn however so I included the metalic lemur in the piece.
