Instrospection.

The human mind is very fascinating, compare it to the ocean with how vast and deep it is yet how little we truly know what goes on at the depths. Sometimes you can fall into the deep end and get swept under by the waves, dwelling deep into yourself and your psyche from several different perspectives. It can feel like a war within your mind between what perspective to hold in your heart as your reality. One may give you hope while another may give you despair, this can cycle endlessly and feel like a bottomless pit.
Expanding upon hope and despair, represented in this peice is Kaworu Nagisa and Asuka Langely Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Both characters represent one of these complex human experiences in their own unique ways.
