In middle school I was given an award for a still life oil pastel drawing of a pear I had made.

In 10th grade I was attending an art show at my school with one of my pieces being displayed, and I was interviewed and put up on our school systems website
band
When I was in highschool I was 1st chair clarinet in band, one year during ensembles we were recognized in the local newspapaer, and my group got a very good score.
